Five County Association of Governments endeavors to provide affordable/workforce housing information to all constituents in southwestern Utah. In an effort to move this effort forward Five County will:
- provide an advocate (ombudsman) for workforce housing;
- ensure an active ombudsman program by adding the effort to existing community development work programs;
- advocate for workforce housing with public and private sectors; and
- provide workforce housing awareness, advocacy, and information to public and private constituents alike.

What we’re about?
In October of 2005 a committee, consisting of local elected officials from the six largest cities in Washington County, was organized to find solutions to the crisis of providing housing that is attainable to the workforce of the community. After several years of addressing the need, the committee asked Five County AOG to further the cause by delivering information/resources to all communities in the southwestern Utah region. The results of these efforts can be found throughout this website. It is our sincere hope that this website will provide you with additional information pertaining to affordable/workforce housing.
