BEBR releases Utah’s Homebuilding Industry, Part I

DAWHAC Restructuring!

At the February 2009 DAWHAC meeting,  the Committee  asked the Five County Association of Governments to continue efforts of the Committee across the Five County region. Five County Association of Governments has gladly accepted this responsibility and will move forward as follows:

  • provide an advocate (ombudsman) for workforce housing;
  • ensure an active ombudsman program by adding the effort to existing community development work programs;
  • advocate for workforce housing with public and private sectors; and
  • provide workforce housing awareness, advocacy, and information to public and private constituents alike.

Workforce Housing Presentations provided to Washington City, Ivins City, and Washington County

On Tuesday, March 24th at 5:30pm  a workforce housing presentation will be delivered to Washington City. The meeting will be held in the City Office Council Chambers at 111 North 100 East. Then, on Thursday, April 2nd at 5:30pm a presentation will be provided to Ivins City. This meeting will be conducted at the City Offices, located at 55 North Main. Finally, Tuesday, April 7th at 4:00pm a presentation will be delivered to Washington County Commission in the Council Chambers. Attainable Housing Project proposed by IHC and the City of St. George
